Some perfect partners for a Yorkshire Break
The Moorlander
Take the MGB onto the back roads of the Hambleton Hills and wind your way up via the White horse at Kilburn to Sutton Bank and the moors visitor centre. Onwards then via Rievaulx abbey to Helmsley and then Hutton le Hole for a stop at the folk museum. From here cross the moors and descend the steep chimney bank to Rosedale abbey for a rest at Ann's Cottage. On day two simply roam around the moorland villages and enjoy the heather, the sheep and the stunning views as you drive up and down the dales.
The Woldsway
Take the Stag and effortlessly Climb up Garrowby hill onto the Wolds and take the scenic route to Sledmere House for lunch. Then follow our spectacular green lanes route through the wolds and come to rest at The Old Lodge Hotel in the Market town of Malton. On the next day, take the B roads to Beverley and visit this beautiful old town and its Minster. Finally head back towards York on our pretty south wolds route taking you into Millington Woods for a tea and cake opportunity at the Ramblers Rest tearooms.
